We are pleased to announce Overleaf Server Pro 6.3! This release introduces improvements to document editing workflows, institutional theming capabilities, and updates to the LaTeX compilation environment and security infrastructure. You can read the full release notes here.

The most notable update in this release is that the features that produce accessible PDFs are ready to use in production workflows, and have graduated from the prototype phase. When we polled the audience at the start of AI Uncorked, the results told a familiar story: 32% of organizations are just getting started with AI, another 32% are piloting in select teams, and only 21% say AI is established in how they work. Hosted by John Lees-Miller, co-founder of Overleaf, the fireside chat brought together Dr. Mark Bloomfield, Fellow at Cambridge Judge Business School, who spends most of his week advising boards on AI transformation, and Maximilian Freier, economist and Secretary of the Monetary Policy Committee at the European Central Bank, where he also coordinates the ECB's own AI rollout.

Overleaf AI is now included in all Overleaf plans at no extra cost, with usage allowances and features varying by plan type. We’re also introducing Commons AI as a new option to increase the Overleaf AI allowance for campus-wide subscriptions.

This is because our most recent product survey indicates that 81.6% of you use AI in your research work or studies, and 60% use AI for LaTeX support. So now that assistance is available inside Overleaf: no context or window switching and with custom prompts tailored to research and technical writing.
